Admittedly, 2020 was not the best year for a lot of people. While the previous year was full of challenges, 2021 is looking better already. There have been a couple of vaccines released, and the public is slowly getting vaccinated. Visiting Angels Northeast Ohio brings up safety tips to help seniors and caregivers continue to stay safe as the pandemic continues.
Before sharing any safety tips, Visiting Angels Northeast Ohio discusses how COVID-19 has been in 2021 so far. Worldwide, there have been around 90 million cases of COVID-19; additionally, the U.S accounts for around 22 million COVID-19 cases. All in all, the three most infected states are Florida, Texas, and California. When it comes to deaths, 8 out of 10 deaths have been seniors 65 years old or older, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Once Visiting Angels Northeast Ohio goes through COVID-19 information, the safety tips are listed. The first safety tip is to keep wearing a mask.
