The pandemic has affected everyone in one way or another. Now that vaccines for COVID-19 have been distributed to millions, there seems to be an end to the pandemic somewhere in the future. Visiting Angels Augusta shares some of the newest CDC guidelines that everyone, especially vaccinated individuals, should take a look at.
What does it mean to be fully vaccinated in the first place? Well, the vaccines are not the same. The Johnson & Johnson vaccine only requires a single dose. However, the Moderna and Pfizer vaccine are different. Both the Moderna and Pfizer vaccines require two doses before a person is fully vaccinated. In addition to the number of doses, the wait time after the final dose of a vaccine is also important. It takes two weeks, after the final dose, for a vaccine to become effective.
When Visiting Angels finishes discussing the vaccines, they go on to provide a list of the new guidelines. Here are two examples from the large list.
- Resume domestic travel without needing to quarantine after travel.
- Gather indoors with other fully vaccinated people without wearing a mask.
